It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

This will probably be my last post before Christmas so I thought I would make it festive by sharing some of my favourite decorations this year (apart from the obvious trees and fairy lights)!

First, if this counts as a decoration, is my Christmas owl Yankee candle tart burner. I love owls, Yankee candles and Christmas so this is basically perfect. You put the tart into the hanging white dish and put a tea light into the little chimney pot at the bottom which makes the tart melt and your room smells amazing. The tart in there at the minute is 'Christmas baking'.

I haven't had a chocolate advent calendar this year but I have had this cute train to count the days. The only problem with it is that I always forget to change the date on it, oops!

A few days ago we went ice skating at a local garden centre and they had loads of cute decorations. This seal pup was my favourite thing there by far though, I just couldn't resist buying it.

I have quite a selection of little Christmas teddies from when I was younger including these Tatty Teddies which are way too cute not to put under the tree!

Ever since we were tiny, me and my brothers have got a new decoration each year. Some of mine are these unicorn, one of the three kings and a hanging Santa jacket. I'm not really sure what is Christmassy about a unicorn but clearly that is what I wanted on my tree 10 years ago! I love having decorations like these with sentimental meaning.

Finally, one of my favourite things to put around the house is lights like this polar bear. They make the whole house feel so much more festive.

I hope you all have an amazing Christmas!

Festive Lush Haul

Lush is one of my favourite places to shop, especially at this time of year when the Christmas range is out! I went there last week and picked up a few things.

First is the 'candy mountain' bubble bar. It is so cute and smells lovely - quite sweet and like vanilla.  You crumble some of it under running water and it makes loads of bubbles as well as turning your bath a pale pink shimmery colour.

I also picked up another bubble bar, the 'holly golightly' one. You use this in the same way as candy mountain although this one does get you covered in glitter just by touching it! It smells quite spicy which makes it really warming and festive plus it makes the bath water an amazing turquoise colour with silver sparkles throughout.

Another thing I got is the 'dashing Santa' bath bomb which gets its name from the fact that it fizzes around your bath, turning the water red as it goes. I love the smell of it, it is like oranges and other citrus fruits but I mainly bought it because it was shaped like Santa and what could be more Christmassy than that!

Finally was the 'golden wonder' bath bomb. This one starts off turning the water a yellowy colour but it is bright blue inside so it ends up leaving the water that colour instead which is so pretty. It also leaves cute little stars in the water too! It has a lovely citrus-y scent, similar to 'dashing Santa'.

That's all I got on my most recent trip to Lush but I'm sure I will be getting more things very soon!

Miss Patina

I absolutely love two-pieces, especially when they are as nice and well made as this one from Miss Patina*!

I received the Tame Fox skirt and top in this gorgeous navy blue colour. (It isn't as bright as it shows in this photo). I love the fact that you can either wear the skirt and top together or separately in another outfit. This outfit would also look nice without tights but it was about 0 degrees when these photos were taken so I decided it would be best to keep them on so I didn't totally freeze!

The cute little fox embroidery on the skirt and collar adds such a cute touch!

I have worn this two piece multiple times since I got it and have received compliments on it every time. Depending what you pair it with it can also be both a summer and winter outfit which is perfect.
